Before anything else, some primers when visiting:
1. Watch your steps. This site hosts endemic plants and important fossils amongst other treasures. Please avoid tramping on them!
Once they’re gone, they’re gone forever. Do your part to help in the conservation of this site’s beauty.
2. Be sensitive to the site of Dwejra (e.g. avoid making loud noises, running around on the site, etc.).
3. Dim your vehicle’s lights when visiting the site at night, and drive very slowly. Your car’s bright lights can disrupt some of the nocturnal wildlife at this site, as well as hamper observations of the night sky.
4. Children are to be supervised at all times. Many areas can be hazardous.
5. Barbecuing is prohibited!

Dwejra is a dark sky heritage area, and on a clear starry night you can have the most breathtaking view of the Milky Way on the Maltese islands.
